Zoë Constantinides

REGIONAL COMPETITION JURY MEMBER // Zoë Constantinides is an educator at Champlain College – Lennoxville. She holds an MA in Film Studies and a PhD in Communication Studies from Concordia University. Her scholarship has focused on Canadian and Quebecois cinema, and on the cultural history of professional film criticism, arguing for the importance of diversifying film criticism and nurturing our local film culture. Zoë has worked as a programmer for Montreal’s Film Pop festival and has organized several film events in Montreal and in Sherbrooke. Her approach to education and cinema is informed by social advocacy.
