FAQ’s

PASSPORT AND UNLIMITED ACCESS PASS

I’ve made my purchase, now how does the e-ticket (QR code) work?

Once you’ve made an online purchase and depending on the number of products you have bought, you will receive a PDF document with one or several QR codes. If you have bought a Passport or an Unlimited Access Pass, you will need to validate your e-ticket (QR code) in order to receive the physical product. You can do this either at the Maison du Cinéma (63 Rue King Ouest, Sherbrooke) or the Festival office (1671 Chemin Duplessis, 2e étage, Sherbrooke.

Can’t I just show the e-ticket (QR code) I have for my Passport or Unlimited Access Pass in order to see the film or participate in the activity?

No. You can only access your film or activity if you have the physical Passport or Unlimited Access Pass in hand. In order to receive the Passport or Unlimited Access Pass, please go to the Maison du Cinéma’s Ticket Office or the Festival Office.

I get it. So when can I go validate my e-ticket and pick up my Passport or Unlimited Access Pass?

The Passports and Unlimited Access Passes will be available for pickup at the Maison du cinema or the Festival Office from the 2nd of March.

Does the (physical) version of the Passport or Unlimited Access Pass allow direct entry to a screening or an activity?

No. For the screenings taking place at the Maison du Cinéma, you must go via the Ticket Office. There, upon showing your (physical) Passport or Unlimited Access Pass, you will receive a Film Ticket. For activities taking place in other locations, you simply need to go to the FCMS Mobile Ticket Office on site and show them your Passport or your Unlimited Access Pass.

For Passport Holders, your Passport will be hole punched every day you receive a ticket (between 5 to 10 times depending on the formula you will have chosen).

So I can understand better… Why do you recommend reserving the Film and Activity Tickets in advance?

There is limited seating for all screenings and activities. We encourage you to get your ticket in advance in order to ensure you will have a seat. We strongly recommend you do this for the opening and closing films to avoid disappointment.

I get it! How do I reserve my film and activity tickets in advance?

Choose your films and activities and come and visit us at the Maison du Cinéma Ticket Office from the 11nd of March. Show your (physical) Passport or your Unlimited Access Pass and you will receive a Film or Activity Ticket. Passports will be hole punched for every film or activity ticket used (up to 5 or 10 tickets depending on the chosen formula).

If you are unable to come to the Ticket Office, we are offering a special service in order to reserve your tickets in advance. Send us an email to [javascript protected email address] with your order number, the name of the activity or film title you have chosen and the time and date. This option is only available if you have not yet picked up your (physical) Passport or Unlimited Access Pass.

Can’t wait! Can I reserve my Film and Activity Tickets now?

Hold your horses! Film and Activity Tickets will be available at the Maison du Cinéma from the 11th of March only. Activity Tickets can also be picked up at the Festival Office.

Quick question. Does the Passport give me access to all the films and activities in the programme?

Yes, with two exceptions: The Ciné-Brunch  (Brunch + Film) and the Ciné-Concert (Concert).

And the Unlimited Access Pass? Does that give me access to all of the activities?

Yes, with one exception: The Ciné-Brunch  (Brunch + Film).

It’s unlikely to happen, but just in case… Can I be reimbursed?

I’m sorry. We operate on a No refund, no exchange policy.

ACTIVITY TICKET

I’ve purchased my Activity Ticket, now how does the e-ticket (QR code) work?

Once you’ve made an online purchase, and depending on the number of products you have bought, you will receive a PDF document with one or several QR codes. Each Festivalgoer will be asked to show their ticket at the door. You can either use the e-ticket directly on your phone or print it out.

It’s unlikely to happen, but just in case… Can I be reimbursed?

I’m sorry. We operate on a No refund, no exchange policy.
