Ma Terre d’Accueil is a video-dance exploring the immigration journey of a woman from South America. Carrying a bag full of stories and memories, she enters a new country, facing the challenges and transformations that await her. The video follows her journey from her native warmth to the extreme cold of a new land, illustrating how she must tame not only a new climate, but also a new language, a new culture, and even winter darkness. Through this artistic work, the viewer is invited to share the profound experience of immigration, to feel the emotions, challenges and joys of this process, and to discover how the beauty and strength of the Earth can become a source of inspiration and moral support for those who undertake this journey. Ma Terre d’Accueil captures the essence that lives on in this woman beyond physical and cultural change, illustrating the resilience and transformation that accompany the act of entering a new place.
