Amandine Garrido
Amandine Garrido has been working in the performing arts for several years as a dancer-performer, choreographer and teacher. She obtained her diploma in dance performance with training in classical and contemporary dance in 2002 (University of Chile) and worked for various contemporary companies in her country. With an extraordinary array of talents, she inspires people with her stage presence, versatility and fluidity of movement. She has been a member of the ZemmourBallet dance company since 2020 and was its artist-in-residence in 2022.
Since arriving in Canada, Amandine Garrido has created three dance videos with the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, ZemmourBallet and the CASJB. Her latest work recently won the prize for best dance and music video at the Cinematography & Photography Awards in London, testifying to the artistic quality and international recognition of her work. This accolade reinforces her commitment to innovation and creativity in contemporary dance, and she looks forward to continuing to share her passion with audiences around the world.
