Originally from Argentina, filmmaker and professor Laura Bari has been a resident of Montreal for 30 years. Fascinated by difference and singularity, she chooses cinema to bring together art, culture, education and mental health. In her films, she integrates the real and the imaginary, the duality inherent to the human condition and which inhabits the singular protagonists of her films: ANTOINE (2009) Eyestill films; ARIEL (2013) Parabola, PRIMAS (2018) Greenground. Therefore, poetry imbues hope in the midst of devastation.
