Online programming

The FCMS online programming: a world to discover!

From June 3 at noon until June 10 at 11:59 p.m., the Festival cinéma du monde de Sherbrooke is offering twenty films to discover from all around the world. Whether you are a fan of fiction or documentary films, you will find rare works and successes from here and abroad. All movies are available at the same rental rate; once rented a movie is available for 48 hours.

In addition to the films, several virtual activities will be presented: conferences, podcasts and live exchanges with the public!

The Festival wishes to allow our regional film creators to shine beyond the Eastern Townships. Therefore a section dedicated to the directors of the Regional Competition and their short films will be presented online!

Consult the film and activity pages to discover all the details.

Ciné-Moi

chevreuil du fcmsLIVE: JUNE 5 FROM 10 A.M. TO NOON

Ciné-Moi is a cross between a book club, a film club, and a presentation on the topic of mental health organized every month by the Festival cinéma du monde de Sherbrooke.

For this summer’s edition, our host and psychologist, Nathalie Plaat, along with her guest Dany Baillargeon, associate professor in the Department of Communication at the Université de Sherbrooke, will lead us to rediscover the child inside and the imagination and creativity that it fosters through the film “The Neverending Story” by Wolfgang Petersen.

To participate in this virtual meeting on Saturday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m., we invite you to view the film in advance (since the film will not be shown during the session).

This activity will be in French.
