He even describes his constant companion Earl (RJ Cyler), with whom he makes short film parodies of classic movies, as more of a ‘co-worker’ than a best friend. But when Greg’s mom (Connie Britton) insists he spend time with Rachel (Olivia Cooke) – a girl in his class who has just been diagnosed with cancer – he slowly discovers how worthwhile the true bonds of friendship can be. 13 years and older.

Il n’appartient à aucun clan et entretient depuis l’enfance une amitié quasi exclusive avec Earl, amitié nourrie par l’amour du cinéma. Les deux copains ne comptent d’ailleurs plus les pastiches de grands classiques qu’ils ont réalisés ensemble. Un jour, la mère de Greg lui apprend que Rachel, une camarade de classe qu’il connaît très peu, est atteinte de leucémie, et le presse de lui rendre visite. À contrecoeur, Greg consent à cette bonne action et s’en ouvre même à Rachel. Malgré cette indélicatesse, la jeune fille accepte de le laisser entrer dans son univers. Christian, an ornithologist, works on a lifetime project. He wants to teach orphaned white-fronted geese how to migrate. Using his ultralight airplane he will guide them, from Norway to France, along safe migration routes. Thomas is sceptical about his father foolhardy plans. Stuck at his father’s farm, the teenager gets to spend time with the birds. Gradually, Thomas connects with the geese and cares about them. Soon father and son embark on the most fantastic journey… Film suitable for viewing by all ages (QC)
