La corruption, le manque d’accès aux soins de santé, à l’éducation, à l’eau potable, la cohabitation de plusieurs cultures, le tout dans un état de chaos politique dû à la fermeture de la frontière sont quelques-uns des thèmes subtils abordés dans ce long métrage, dominé du début jusqu’à la fin par la force intérieure de notre héroïne d’origine Wayuu.
