Normand Compte
Former JOC member, program officer at Développement et Paix
Normand Comte developed his commitment to the JOC in the 1980s and 1990s, a journey that took him all the way to Colombia, where he spent five years as a leader of the continental JOC. Later, he studied sociology and international development at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO). Today, he continues to pursue this same ideal of social justice on the international stage as a program officer at Development and Peace, where he is responsible for programming in Bolivia, Ecuador, and Paraguay.
