Nathalie Plaat is a clinical psychologist, author, and columnist for Le Devoir newspaper. She also co-created Ciné-Moi, a Festival cinéma du monde de Sherbrooke activity that combines mental health and cinema. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the CERC at the Université de Sherbrooke. In 2023, Somme toute/Le Devoir published her book Chroniques d’une main tendue – Courtepointes et autres récits de soi. Faced with our modern-day psychological challenges, she invites us to move away from the standard pathological analysis of the human condition.
