Namaï Kham Po
Namaï Kham Po is a Cambodian-born director and editor. He began his career in visual arts before exploring documentary and fiction filmmaking. He is interested in humanist and identity-related issues: the quest for peace, doubt in the face of truth, the fragility of the individual, and the difficulty of living together. His artistic journey aims to explore these themes. As part of the INIS Joint Program, he directed the documentary L’atelier and two web series, Esquisses and Papa Guillotine, which have received recognition at festivals both locally and internationally. His time at INIS led to him receiving the Louise Spickler Excellence Scholarship in 2022, which recognizes talent and the achievement of a high level of professional and personal development.
