Marie-Hélène Panisset
Membre du jury | Réalisatrice et scénariste | Les Films de L'Hydre
Trained in ballet, art history and communications, Marie-Hélène began her career making short dance films. In 2010, she co-directed her first feature-length drama, Lucidité passagère, before turning to documentary, with subjects related to immigration and sexual diversity. Nominated for an Oscar in 2019 for producing the short film Marguerite, the pandemic enabled her to perfect her art of filming the living arts through a series of 9 half-hours in dance and music. Chiennes de faïence is her first feature-length drama as a solo director.
