Catherine Legaré-Pelletier
Hailing from Gaspésie, Catherine Légaré-Pelletier has established herself as an influential figure in the film industry and cultural organization management. Her ten-year career in Montreal within recognized institutions such as the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership and Québec Cinéma, and especially as the director of Plein(s) Écran(s) – the first film festival on Facebook – speaks volumes about her deep commitment to cultural accessibility and her business acumen. Her expertise in digital marketing and cinema, combined with a strategic positioning, earned her a spot on the programming advisory committee of TV5 Unis.tv, where she represents the province of Quebec. Catherine has always sought to reverse the trend of limited cultural opportunities in remote areas. This ambition led her to Ham-Sud, where she serves as a strategic consultant for the Bureau Estrien de l’Audiovisuel et du Multimédia (BEAM). She recently joined the administrative board of the Table de concertation interrégionale en cinéma (TaCIC). Currently enrolled in a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in the management of innovation in SMEs, Catherine works as a Project Manager in collaborative development at the MRC des Sources Innovation Hub: GYM A21.
