The issue of pooling cinema equipment and resources is an ever-present issue that many local organizations in Estrie are eager to solve.
The territory is vast, and the local workforce aspires to create a strong, autonomous film industry in Estrie. During this round table, experts will discuss the advantages, challenges and implications of the cooperative model and the challenges of mutualization. Finally, a case study will be presented, and an open discussion with the audience will close the roundtable.
Guests: Kristalna Vincent-Douville (Regional Director for Estrie and Montérégie – Coopérative de développement régional du Québec), Cynthia Collette (Director General – Pôle d’entrepreneuriat collectif de l’Estrie) and Vincent Bourassa (Director General – SLA location).
The Grand Angle team and the emerging Du Levant équipement project will also be invited to present their business model and challenges in a more participative setting.
