Accompanied by his son Esteban, Luis sets out in search of his 18-year-old daughter, who has been missing for several months. Their journey takes them to southern Morocco, where a clandestine desert rave offers a possible lead. When the event is shut down by the army, Luis decides to follow the tight-knit group of outsiders behind it, who are planning their next gathering near the Mauritanian border. Despite the goodwill of the ravers whose caravan they join, Luis and Esteban are ill-prepared to face the unpredictable dangers of the Western Sahara.
