13 years and older Together with your friends, family or by yourself, come and discover the pleasure of an open-air screening in the beautiful surroundings of the Jacques-Cartier Park. Enjoy the latest shorts from the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the majority of which won awards. Meet us close to Armand-Nadeau Pavilion. The screening of the Best of Annecy 2019 will be preceded by the film Terra Willy, Planète inconnue, at 7:30 pm. Hot drinks and delectable sweet snacks will be available on-site. The activity will move to the Armand-Nadeau Pavilion in the event of rain. Free activity

Pocket Films Screening
Come and discover the talent and creativity emerging from our secondary school students in the Eastern Townships! Students from schools who took part in the FCMS Pocket Film Competition – School Tournament, were invited to create a very short with a cell phone, tablet computer or a camera. The above photo was given to them as a source of inspiration. We invite you to come and see the fruits of their labour and the screening will be followed by a prize ceremony. Free activity

In the presence of the directors Delve into the heart of Lousiana culture thanks to the films and writings of ten students from the Cégep de Sherbrooke’s Arts, Literature and Communication Department. Alongside their teacher, Guillaume Lallier, they travelled to the heart of Louisiana, camera in hand, to create a series of short documentaries. Screened in the cosy atmosphere of the Boq. Film and video: the big meeting
IN COLLABORATION WITH THE CONSEIL DE LA CULTURE DE L’ESTRIE (CCE) Take part in this annual event which allows the regional film industry to come together and gain a deeper understanding of what is happening in the sector. Issues that will be spoken about will include production, fees & costs, distribution and representativity. The meeting will also aim to shed light on certain collective actions and to consolidate the links between us all. This event will be followed by a masterclass by Danny Lennon. Danny is a Festival Programmer who works with over a hundred Quebec and Canadian festivals. He specializes in shorts and will be speaking on the theme « How to attract a programmer’s attention? » .
