His wife is on a two-month top secret nuclear submarine mission. While she’s away, he has to prove that he can take care of the children and find a job. Following a surreal interview, he is hired at The Box on a trial basis – and thus Alexandre enters the 24-7 world of a greenwashed start-up with a strict no-child policy. He meets Arcimboldo, who juggles different jobs and apps and offers to look after the kids in exchange for accommodation. Between Alexandre’s killer colleague Severine, incessant conference calls and endless team building sessions, keeping his secret is no easy challenge…

Little Palestine, journal d’un siège est un journal filmé qui suit le destin des civils pendant le siège brutal, imposé par le régime syrien, suite à ces batailles. Abdallah Al-Khatib compose un chant d’amour à un lieu qui résiste avec dignité aux atrocités de la guerre.

When the Syrian revolution broke out, the regime of Bashar Al-Assad saw Yarmouk a refuge of rebels and resistance, and set up a siege from 2013 on. Gradually deprived of food, medicine and electricity, Yarmouk was cut of the rest of the world. Abdallah Al-Khatib was born in Yarmouk and lived there until his expulsion by Daesh in 2015. Between 2011 and 2015, he and his friends documented the daily life of the besieged inhabitants, who decided to face bombing, displacement and hunger with rallying, study, music, love and joy. Hundreds of lives that were irremediably transformed by war and siege, from Abdallah’s mother who turned into a nurse taking care of the elders of the camp, to the fiercest activists whose passion for Palestine got gradually undermined by hunger…

Il veut devenir prêtre, mais cela lui est impossible en raison de son casier judiciaire. Lorsqu’il est envoyé travailler dans une menuiserie d’une petite ville, il se déguise en prêtre à son arrivée et prend accidentellement la direction de la paroisse locale. L’arrivée de ce jeune prêcheur charismatique est l’occasion pour la communauté locale d’entamer le processus de guérison après une tragédie qui s’est produite dans cette ville.

He wants to become a priest but this is impossible because of his criminal record. When he is sent to work at a carpenter’s workshop in a small town, on arrival he dresses up as a priest and accidentally takes over the local parish. The arrival of the young, charismatic preacher is an opportunity for the local community to begin the healing process after a tragedy that happened there.
