Screening of short dance films on the theme of mental health

Come and discover SacAdo, a project by the Axile dance company, created by teenagers.

It was directed by Alice Grondin Segal, the company’s general and artistic director. Through 10 dance technology workshops and 10 dance creation workshops, the project led teenagers to create 6 short dance films on the theme of mental health.

The aim of the entire project was to include 7 tips for taking care of one’s mental health (act, feel, choose, connect, accept, discover, recharge) and to highlight the teens’ creativity and individuality, as well as to bring their authentic voices into the public arena.

Hosted by Nathalie Plaat

The project was made possible thanks to financial support from the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec.
