Are religious and political powers moving ever closer together? From Tunisia to Québec by way of France and the United States, the documentary Quand les pouvoirs s’emmêlent (Entangled Powers) examines this complex subject and conducts a dialogue with socially committed men and women.
Serving as an excellent springboard for a reflection on this important issue, the film will be followed by a discussion with the producers, Michèle Grondin and Louisa Déry. The discussion will be moderated by Renée Dumais-Beaudoin, who anchors the news program Par ici l’info on Radio-Canada Estrie.
The Ciné-Débat is organized by Sondès Allal and presented in collaboration with the Centre culturel de l’Université de Sherbrooke.
