Pocket film Competition – School Tournament
Organized by the FCMS for a third edition, the School Tournament (Tournoi des écoles) is a short film competition for all high school students from participating schools in Sherbrooke. This is a great opportunity for young people to express their creativity through the seventh art, to initiate themselves and to discover new talent and interests.
The participants have 6 weeks, from February 5th to March 16th, to make a video (fiction film, documentary, animated film, stop-motion, experimental) lasting between 1 and 4 minutes, following the edition theme : Double sens.
Each school is responsible for selecting, by an internal jury, three films including a winning film for its school. The winner in each school will receive a 100 $ award*. The films selected will represent their school for the School Tournament. Relatives and the general public can admire the creativity of students selected at the public screening event that will be held in the Festival.
If you wish to participate, please contact the person in charge of your school in order to receive more information about the contest details.
