Maxime-Claude L’Écuyer
Director, screenwriter and editor, Maxime-Claude L’Écuyer has studied Cinema and Art history at University of Montreal. His passion for the art made him direct his first feature documentary, released in 2022, 305 Bellechasse, who received the Yolande and Pierre Perrault award at Rendez-Vous Québec Cinéma and a nomination for best sound at the Gala Iris in 2023.
He also has written and directed 8 short films, including Resonance and Dinosauria, We. All of them have been presented in various festivals both in Quebec and internationally, and some have been awarded. His second feature documentary, R. Roussil, from the ground up, premiered at Festival film on art of Montreal and was selected at Mostra internacional de Cinema of Sao Paulo in 2025 and continues the festival circuit.
