Marie-Claire Nadeau
Former JOC member and star of the film Voir - Juger - Agir : L’histoire de la JOC au Québec
Marie-Claire Nadeau embodies solidarity without borders. A member of the JOC from 1962 to 1972, she first made her mark here in Quebec by playing a key role in the unionization of female workers at a poultry plant and as national president of the movement. Convinced of the power of collective organization, she then took this commitment to Peru, where she worked as a volunteer with women’s organizations. She continued her career in Montreal as a consultant in the fields of workforce training and the social economy.
