Frida Villarreal
Over the past two years, I’ve had two mandates as a volunteer cooperant with CECI-Bolivia as a climate change advisor. These years have enabled me to deepen my knowledge of environmental issues, to be close to local organizations, in particular the National Confederation of Women of Bolivia (CNAMIB), and to travel through some of the diverse and complex territories of my home country, as I was born in Bolivia.
In my professional career, I have worked for several years on international university projects on environmental education, involving the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and universities in the Bolivian Amazon.
As far as my academic background is concerned, I have a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and a Short Program in Environmental Education, both of which were completed at UQAM.
