Etienne Desrosiers
Etienne Desrosiers studied film in Montreal. Since 1995, he has directed several films that have been broadcast on television and screened at 160 international festivals, including at the Centre Georges-Pompidou (Paris), Huesca, and Seattle. His award-winning films include Benninger (2023), Leaving Delhi (2019), Roger D’Astous (2016), Portrait de l’artiste en muse (2005), Miroirs d’été (2007) with Xavier Dolan, and Erotographie (2002). As an independent curator, he has presented events in many countries, including at the Lux Centre in London, Urban Drift in Berlin, and the Australian Film and Television Institute. A gallery owner and photographer, he has written for the National Film Board of Canada and worked with Todd Haynes and John Maybury.
