Edith Fournier

A doctor of psychology and former professor, now retired, at the Université de Montréal for 33 years, Édith Fournier participated in Fernand Dansereau’s three documentaries on old age. She is the author of two books on being caregiver to a relative with Alzheimer’s disease (Édith’s Mother, My Eternity Has Begun). She was also the subject of the film Édith and Michel, by Jocelyne Clarke (NFB), and one of the characters in Jean-Pierre Lefebvre’s documentary Mon ami Michel (Cinak).
