Carole Poliquin first studied acting at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique in Québec before moving into documentary cinema. From 1974 to 1980, she lived and worked in Turkey where she shot her first images. Back in Canada, she dedicates herself to documentary film making. Her award-winning works address crucial social and ecological issues.
