A weekend together out in nature — father and son alone, with a tent and beer, talking about men’s business. What at first seems to be a harmless trip that Max undertakes with his father slowly turns into an unexpected horror trip in which the regained bond between the two is truly put to the test.

Jürgen Karasek was born on 13.11.1982 in Kulmbach/Germany. He holds a master’s degree in theatre-, film- and media studies and has been a freelance director and screenwriter since 2004. His first feature film “Waiting for the Moon” was shown at several international festivals. His last short film “Novemberlights” (30 festivals, 5 awards) had its world premiere at Max-Ophüls Filmfestival 2013 in Saarbrücken and was awarded the Thomas Pluch Screenplay Prize at the Diagonale 2013. He is currently working on the feature film project “The Best Days”. Jürgen is also co-founder and co-owner of Soleil Film, with which he has produced numerous award-winning documentaries.
