Do our screens mirror our true Québec? Given that a little more than one out of ten people in Québec is an immigrant, do our screens mirror that diversity? Are Québec actors who belong to a visible minority confined to stereotypical roles? Is it misleading to claim that the public is nowhere near seeing that diversity onscreen? Does hope reside in younger productions, that paint a more accurate portrait of society by including more characters who are products of that diversity?

Attend the open debate, during which our guests will discuss the issues and realities surrounding diversity and representativity in the media, in film and on television.
