IN COLLABORATION WITH THE BUREAU ESTRIEN DE L’AUDIOVISUEL ET DU MULTIMÉDIA (BEAM)

There is currently a large influx of creatives and technicians moving to the regions. This phenomenon is slowly but unquestionably starting to challenge the film industry. What is the future of film production in the region? How are regional productions capturing the Quebecois imagination? This round table aims to explore and respond to these types of questions.

Creative Director for the BEAM, Pierre-Philippe has a successful career in the music industry. Well known as a musician and singer, he is also an internationally renowned music and score composer. Since moving back to the Eastern townships, he has put all his talents towards making this region shine.

Jean-Marc E.Roy's work sways between documentary and fiction. Since 1999, some of his films have been screened and awarded here like anywhere else. Living in Chicoutimi, besides founding the movement under stress creation called 3REG in 2002, he also founded La Boîte de pickup with Philippe David Gagné.
