Come discover the talent and creativity of Sherbrooke’s high school students! As part of the Pocket Film Contest – School Tournament, organized by the FCMS, candidates had to submit a short short of 1 to 4 minutes on the topic Tomorrow.

At each participating school, an in-house panel selected 3 finalists, including the school’s winning entry, to represent their establishment at the Pocket Films screening event.

Collège Mont-Notre-Dame

Séminaire de Sherbrooke
• Après aujourd’hui, by Marie-Ève Guegère | The school’s winning entry
• Carnet voyant, by Houyar Asli and Édouard Lagassé
• 24 h, by Emmanuelle Boone

École Mitchell-Montcalm
• Je m’appelle demain, by Chloé Salaun | The school’s winning entry
• N’oublie pas, by Ariane Boulanger and Zoé Brodeur
• Le secret du passé, by Léa Landry and Kantaya Gelé

École internationale du Phare
• Nathan, by Louis-Charles Blais | The school’s winning entry
• Futur antérieur, by Vincent Rouillard
• Plus rien, by Julian Lieutenant-Duval

The screening will be followed by the award ceremony.
• A $100 grant, offered jointly with Desjardins, will be awarded to the director of each school’s winning entry.
• The award for Meilleur film (Best Film), together with a $300 gift certificate at Best Buy’s, will be presented to the director of one of the winning school entries selected by an independent committee.
• Following a vote by movie goers, the Prix du public (Audience Award) distinction, together with a $50 gift certificate at Best Buy’s, will be presented to the director of one of the films shown during the evening.
