Pocket film Competition – School Tournament

Organized by the FCMS since 2015, the School Tournament (Tournoi des écoles) is a short film competition for all high school students from participating schools in Sherbrooke. This is a great opportunity for young people to express their creativity through the seventh art, to initiate themselves and to discover new talent and interests.

The participants have 6 weeks to make a video (fiction film, documentary, animated film, stop-motion, experimental) lasting between 1 and 4 minutes, following an edition theme (last year, the theme was Double sens).

Each school is responsible for selecting, by an internal jury, three films including a winning film for its school. The films selected will represent their school for the School Tournament. Relatives and the general public can admire the creativity of students selected at the public screening event that will be held in the Festival.

You want to sign up to the Pocket film Competition – School Tournament?

For teachers and school representant who would like to register their school, please contact Andrée-Anne Côté, Pocket film competition coordinator at 819 821-7433 ext. 223 / [javascript protected email address]
