André Vanasse

Since 1984, André Vanasse has directed and produced numerous social and educational documentaries with organizations working in fields such as community education, the social economy, international cooperation, and labor unionism. Active in both Quebec and Haiti, André favors an approach that uses audiovisual media to facilitate knowledge-sharing and collective transmission. His works combine artistic excellence with social commitment. A member of the Funambules Médias worker cooperative since 2018, he contributed to the film Voir – Juger – Agir : L’histoire de la JOC au Québec both as a producer and as an archival researcher.
