Sébastien Merckling

An avid film buff since high school and holder of a master’s degree in history, Sébastien Merckling has lived and worked in Quebec City since 2013. He quickly became involved in the film community and, in 2015, became coordinator of Kinomada. He joined the Spira cooperative team in 2016, where he has held various positions, including Director of Distribution (2017-2022) and Deputy Director General (since 2025).
