Alain Farah

Born in Montreal in 1979, Alain Farah is a professor of literature at McGill University. He has published the novels Mille secrets mille dangers (2021), Pourquoi Bologne (2013), Matamore nº 29 (2008), and the poetry collection Quelque chose se détache du port (2004).
Mille secrets mille dangers won the 2022 Ringuet Prize and the Governor General’s Literary Award, in addition to being a finalist for the Prix littéraire des collégiens, the Prix des libraires du Québec, and the Grand Prix du livre de Montréal.
